This is the first tablet of Samsung Galaxy Tab series which uses Super AMOLED Plus display technology.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a development of the Galaxy Tab previously launched by Samsung, Fulfilling what's not in the previous Galaxy Tab. Based on research conducted by Samsung on how people use a tablet now mainly emphasizes on three things, namely for browsing, communications and media experience. With Super AMOLED Plus, browsing, watching video, play the game is more fun with Galaxy Tab 7.7 features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 uses Android 3.2 Honeycomb and armed by the Dual-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Mali-400MP GPU, and chipset Exynos. With a very powerful processor, of course opens up many applications (multi-tasking) will not be an obstacle for Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also features lightweight slim body, with only 7.89 millimeters make this tablet much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy SII 8.49 millimeters thick. It weighs only 340 grams or even 12-ounce equivalent.

On the camera, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has been equipped with 3.15 MP camera with auto-focus, LED flash and Geo-tagging on the back. While at the front of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, there is a 2 Megapixel camera that can play 720p video @ 30fps.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 is equipped with a 5100 mAh battery that makes the video playback on the tablet can last up to 10 hours. Battery power is also higher than the Galaxy Tab 7 Plus which uses 4000 mAh battery.
