Home Monitoring Goes Mobile with mydlink+

D-Link International Pte. Ltd., known as consumer and business networking product supplier, releases its premium applications, mydlink+, following the success of the previous application mydlinkTM, a remote home monitoring service by D-Link.

Mydlink+ allows user to watch high-quality movie recording up to four cameras simultaneously over the network (1 live, 3 snapshots). This application is available now at iTunes and Google Play with a special price of 0.99 USD.

This latest application is optimized for the iPad, including the recently launched new iPad, and Android tablet as well, and allows users to view any camera feed anywhere with 3G or Wi-Fi access.

Mydlink+ makes it much easier to keep records into your tablet, switch between different cameras with built-in monitoring through the dashboard, and view four feeds on one screen at a time.

"Remote monitoring ensures you on what is currently happening at your home." Said Mr. Desmond Toh, Marketing Director of D-Link International. "We introduce mydlink+ that offers a number of features to the increasing number of tablet users."

Mydlink service can also be accessed for free with mydlink Lite application that allows users to watch live footage and take snapshots from one active camera, available for iOS and Android.

  1. Webcam home monitoring is much cheaper than using a professional home security set-up, that could set you back by many hundred dollars. Once you have your webcams in place, a webcam software is extremely affordable and what's best, is that some of them like GotoCamera even offer this service for free.
